Sequestered between Surfside Beach and Murrells Inlet is a quaint little fish village, Garden City. Set back from the main road is Sara J’s Seafood Restaurant. The menu is a delectable combination of Calabash style seafood (lightly breaded and pan fried) and Low Country Cuisine (dishes are based on seasonal availability and always include fresh produce, grains and seafood). It is often rated as one of the best seafood restaurants in the area, due to their use of the freshest foods available. Be prepared for long lines though well worth the wait to get in.
