Palace Theatre

One of the first things people see as they drive towards Broadway at the Beach is the 7,000 square feet dome of Palace Theater. The Palace Theater is a live entertainment venue offering a variety of shows for the whole family. The Main auditorium seats over 2600 guests and the lower “Orchestra” level seats an additional 1200 guests with Row “W” reserved for handicapped guests including those with wheel chairs. Just off the lobby is the King Suite Showroom, a small stage with seating for 140.

There are live events all year long at the Palace Theater in Broadway at The Beach. One of their most popular shows is Le Grand Cirque the performances are nightly and can be seen beginning in February and ending in October. It has been labeled as the next Cirque du Soleil. Another popular show that runs through out the year is the Magical Spirit of Ireland. The performers have taken their dance routines directly from the production “Spirit of the Dance” and the Irish Tenors will delight fans as they sing traditional Irish songs, opera, pop, musicals and swing.

Other popular shows include Man in the Mirror, a tribute to Michael Jackson; Broadway at the Palace, a collection of Broadway shows; Palace Summer Series, special performances of off Broadway and other popular shows; and Christmas on Ice, performed from November until January. Christmas on Ice was produced by the creators of the international hit, Show Spirit. Previous Winter Olympic Skaters, high kicking dancers, Broadway  and London’s West End performers come together to provide Myrtle Beach with yet another spectacular Christmas show.
